After a meeting between the Chairman of the Hunting and Equestrian Club, Sheikh Dhari Al-Sabah, and the Chairman of the Supreme Horse Racing Authority, Sheikh Sabah Fahad Al-Sabah, it was decided to increase the number of races for Arabian horses to 40, including 3 races for Gulf-produced horses, distributed across the four tracks. This comes as part of the club's administration's efforts to support and develop purebred Arabian horse racing.
